Raneka Williams is a budding jazz vocalist from the great city of Newark. At the Newark School of the Arts, Raneka first developed her vocal talent under the guidance of the late, great Inez McClendon. Raneka was incredibly fortunate to continue to expand her vocal gifts under the guidance and direction of Grammy Nominated Newark Jazz and Blues Vocalist, Ms. Antoinette Montague. Through her mentorship, Raneka developed her natural talent and found her passion for jazz singing. At 15, Raneka became the first jazz vocalist to study at the Newark School of the Arts Conservatory.

Raneka draws inspiration from Antoinette, Sarah and Billie. She has worked with some of the most iconic musicians, including Ray Chew, Danny Mixon, and Dr Patricio Molina.

Raneka is a vocal major at Arts High School in Newark, where she is a member of the jazz band.
